Thomas Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lynn Lane Mini Trailer Park is a tremendous local campground; a brilliant place to camp here at Thomas Lake is Hochatown State Park. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Glover River, and Quality Inn Idabel is a good       site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Thomas Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Thomas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Outlaw Creek; next to Thomas Lake you come across a golf course called Idabel Country Club. Thomas Lake is a quite wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; of all the                  months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
