Talihina Lake is a nice lake to visit. The high level of rain makes Talihina Lake a pretty wet spot; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is regularly the driest month. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Talihina Lake. If you need a site to stay Sportsmans Lodge is a great choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains.
A tour to Devils Hollow is always fun, and not far from Talihina

| | Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Talihina Lake Dam. Dry warm beds await you at Travelers Inn Motel, and good hiking is available along the Wildhorse Trail. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Lake Carl Albert, and there's great hiking along the Boardstand Trail.
