Why not pop by Caddo Lake Dam while you're here; if you get bored of Sun Set Pool you could also stop at nearby Caddo Lake. You might want to pay a visit to Boulder Field if you're here at Sun Set Pool, and Sun Set Pool is a location with many visitors from Lawton. The amount of rain that falls at Sun Set Pool is close to the national average; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Sun Set Pool is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Doris Campground is a wonderful local campground; you can run the rapids of Jimmy Creek. Summer at Sun Set Pool comes with high temperatures in the
90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Sun Set Pool. This location, the Wichita Mountains, has so much outdoors
fun stuff. On a gorgeous day you acquire a panorama of Bat Cave Mountain from Sun Set Pool; of course Deer Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth visiting.
