You don’t have to go far from Stigler Lake to observe the water at Stigler Dam; you'll find a gorgeous lake called Club Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Stigler Lake and you like golf, you can visit Brier Creek Golf Course, and lakes are such serene places, why not check out Lake John Wells. So much amusing stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains, not enough time. If you need a site to stay       Super 8 Motel - Sallisaw is a good choice, and Evergreen Marina is a glorious campground nearby. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Crazy woman Campground is a great local campground. The high level of rain makes Stigler Lake a reasonably wet place; during May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the summer at Stigler Lake highs are mostly in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly                  in the 60's.
