Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Weatherford; if you came for an overnight stay Wink's Camp Grounds is a great place to camp. A normal amount of rain falls here at Sportsman Lake; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. Prairie West Golf Club is a fine golf course       nearby, and do pop by Hunnicutt Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Sportsman Lake. Camping is available at Downtown RV and Trailer Park, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Sportsman Lake typically tend to be in the 90's with night lows in the 70's.
