Summertime highs at Snow Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Snow Pond. Camping is available at Erwin Acres Mobile Home Park, and while you're here at Snow Pond it's a great idea to stop by Chatto Flats. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Wichita Mountains for a tremendous time. If you come at the right time of year, Jimmy Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. Lakes? Sure, Jump Pond is in close proximity. Be careful coming to the Wichita Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again.
