Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Skiatook Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Skiatook Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dad Creek flows through       this area, and Hampton Inn Tulsa-Sand Springs is a magnificent site to get some rest. From a precipitation point of view Skiatook Lake is a relatively normal place; through the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest month is January. Golf can be played at Cedar Crest Golf Course, and Skiatook Lake is not the only place close by, Lily Pad Lake is a close by lake. If you came for an overnight stay Stoney Ridge Campground is a tremendous                  location to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sand Springs Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful.
