Rush Lake Dam is stunning and it's in the neighborhood of Rush Lake, and Rush Lake is not far at all from Lawton. From a rainfall point of view Rush Lake is a quite normal spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Wichita Mountains.

There's so much to do here at Rush Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a delightful spot for that; you should without doubt dedicate some time to Graham Flat if you're here at Rush Lake.
