A common amount of rain falls here at Rogers Pond; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January.       For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 90's at Rogers Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Rogers Pond through the wintertime regularly drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Whitehorn Cove Resort and Marina is always a nice experience, and if you come at the right time of year, Illinois River offers some glorious                  whitewater. If you came to camp Sequoyah Bay State Park is a tremendous place to do that, and Rogers Pond Dam is not far at all from Rogers Pond. The summit of Chucalate Hill can be seen from Rogers Pond, and at Rogers Pond you always meet someone from Tahlequah. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Rogers Pond.
