If you want to stop at some interesting stuff, stop at Cedar Bluff, and some of the water nearby flows, like Double Spring Creek. From a rainfall point of view Rogers Pond is a reasonably typical place; June is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Rogers Pond Dam is an exciting thing to check out; you'll most likely meet some people from Tahlequah here. Be careful       coming to Rogers Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Camping at Sequoyah Bay State Park is always a great experience, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Illinois River. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Rogers Pond, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Of Wagoner is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Cockrum                  Hollow; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Spring Creek.
