Country Club Lake is a lake close by, and the top of Pine Mountain is easily spotted from Reynolds Lake. Reynolds Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. During the summertime months highs here at Reynolds Lake reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures       are in the 70's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Reynolds Lake. Lots of people from McAlester come to Reynolds Lake. Having a great time in the Ouachita Mountains is trouble-free. Super 8 Motel and RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby, and Super 8 Kiowa is a glorious place to get some rest.
