At Quanah Parker Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Quanah Parker Lake drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn & Suites       Lawton is a delightful choice, and do go to Crater Lake, it's a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. A quick trip to Cow Creek in the vicinity of Quanah Parker Lake is a fine idea, and this is a popular site for folks from Lawton. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Wichita Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton, and float down the rapids of Jimmy Creek in a kayak. If you                  came for an overnight stay Doris Campground is a tremendous site to camp, and Crater Lake Dam is a pretty place, undeniably worth stopping at. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Places like Sulphur Flat are fine to go to, and the summit of Bushman Mountain can be made out from Quanah Parker Lake. Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a nice local campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Hackney Spring while you're here at Quanah Parker Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Wichita Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wichita Mountains. The Narrows is a great site to pop by close by, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Osage Lake.
