Many people like to go to Lake Placid. This lake is so wonderful. Microtel Inn and Suites Davis is a glorious location to get some rest. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Lake Placid, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Limestone Creek is a tremendous local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Placid has to offer, you can camp at Platt Trailer Park. herself at Antelope Spring. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Washita River, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Rock Creek Site 17 Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all.
A great nearby hotel is Sulphur Super 8 Motel; from Lake Placid you obtain a magnificent panorama of Mount Airy. Go for a hike on the Cliffside Trail, and you can stay the night at Eastside Trailer Park. This lake is so wonderful.
Bear Falls Dam is a scenic place close to Lake Placid, and Lake Placid is not the only place nearby, Tull Crest Lake is a nearby lake.
