    Why not stop by Pine Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Courthouse Creek, and there are splendid sites to discover along the Little Horseshoe Trail. Be careful coming to Pine Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Microtel Inn Idabel is a nice location to  
   get some rest, and Schuler Bend is a tremendous site to have a look at while in the area.
At Pine Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Pine Lake tend to be in the 20's. Much rainfall falls at Pine Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Get yourself into
 
               a kayak and hit Glover River, and Hochatown State Park is a great local campground.
Near Pine Lake you locate the West Signal Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and do take a look at Sunk Lake, it's a pretty lake. You truly have to love the Ouachita Mountains. Going for a hike on the Billy Bell Trail is always a glorious adventure, and why not camp at Lynn Lane Mini Trailer Park since you're here at Pine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Rocky Creek offers some glorious whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Quality Inn Idabel, and a beautiful lake like Dry Lake is a great site to explore.
