The beauty of Pine Lake is reason enough to stop by. Hochatown State Park is a pleasant local campground, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Glover River. All through the long summer days at Pine Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while Pine Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime
are in the 20's. And that's not everything you can do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Courthouse Creek is a tremendous place to stop by.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Pine Lake without first going for a hike along the Billy Bell Trail; whitewater paddling is fine on Rocky Creek. Go for a hike on the West Signal Trail, and Quality Inn Idabel is a brilliant location to get some rest. So much cool stuff to do at Pine Lake, so little time. Good hiking

is available along the Little Horseshoe Trail, and after a long day outdoors Microtel Inn Idabel is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
So much exciting stuff in the Ouachita Mountains, just mind-blowing. If you came for an overnight stay Lynn Lane Mini Trailer Park is a pleasant place to camp, and Schuler Bend is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Pine Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
