What a nice lake Osage Lake is. Throughout the summertime highs here at Osage Lake reach the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Osage Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. An average amount of rainfall falls at Osage Lake; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This

And that's not everything you can do here in the Wichita Mountains. A magnificent nearby hotel is Quality Inn Lawton, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Jimmy Creek. You can take a little spree to Burford Lake Dam while you're here at Osage Lake; a lake nearby is Burford Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Campground and Picnic Area is a pleasant spot for that; you get a tremendous view of Bushman Mountain from here.
So much amusing stuff in the Wichita Mountains, just impressive. The Narrows is a great site to go to near Osage
Lake; a short tour to Hackney Spring is always worthwhile. Cow Creek is a glorious spot to go to; if you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a perfect choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita
Mountains.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Osage Lake has to offer, you can camp at Doris Campground, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Lawton.
