Burford Lake Dam is a scenic location in the vicinity of Osage Lake, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Jimmy Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Hackney Spring will fill your soul with       tremendous feelings. Summer at Osage Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Osage Lake. From a rain point of view Osage Lake is a reasonably typical place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a tremendous                  time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Osage Lake. Camping is available at Doris Campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Lawton here. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent view of gorgeous Bushman Mountain is available from Osage Lake, and it's a fine idea to check out Cow Creek. If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton is a great choice, and close by you find tremendous places like The Narrows. Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a pleasant site to get some rest, obviously you could also check out Quanah Parker Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place!
