Orchard Lake is a wet location that gets lots of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. This location is unbeatable, just explore       all the exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Orchard Lake. Best Western Stateline Lodge is a great place to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Illinois River, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Stilwell, Ok is a good choice. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Ozarks. You can take a little journey to Orchard Dam if you're here at Orchard                  Lake, and Orchard Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Baron Fork Creek Campground is a good site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Lee Creek offers some good whitewater, naturally you could also check out Stillwell Orchard Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Through the warm days of summer at Orchard Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's.
