A brilliant place for whitewater paddling right next door to Moore Pond is Washita River; Moore Pond Dam is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites Ardmore, and if you're popping by from       Ardmore, you won't be the only one. Moore Pond really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites ARDMORE is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and a lake nearby is Chickasaw Lake. At Moore Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 70's.
