Moore Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is January. Summertime at Moore Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Moore Pond. Not far from Moore Pond you       get some fine water scenery at Moore Pond Dam; if you came for an overnight stay Buzzard Roost Campground is a great spot to camp. This place, Moore Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Ardmore; there's some flowing water close by, Sand Branch is a stream you can check out while here. Camping is available at Lake Murray State Park, and at Moore Pond you always meet someone from Ardmore.                  A tour to Chickasaw National Recreation Area is recommended, and if you need a site to stay Candlewood Suites ARDMORE is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful.
