Mohawk Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lynn Lane Mini Trailer Park is a good local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Outlaw Creek. Camping at Hochatown State Park is always a brilliant experience; enjoy a round of golf at Idabel Country Club. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Mohawk Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in       the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Mohawk Lake. Glide down the rapids of Glover River in a kayak; after a long day outdoors Microtel Inn Idabel is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Quality Inn Idabel, and let's not forget Campbell Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while here.
