Eagle Mountain can be observed from Lost Lake; why not camp at Letra Campground and Picnic Area since you're here at Lost Lake. High temperatures at Lost Lake through the summer months are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lost Lake. Not enough hours in a day       to enjoy the Wichita Mountains. Cow Creek is a glorious location to take a look at, needless to say you could also explore Fish Lakes while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot next to Lost Lake is Dog Run Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Jimmy Creek; a perfect nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton. All the outdoors amusing things in the Wichita Mountains will keep you coming back time                  and again. At Lost Lake you always meet someone from Lawton; after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a great spot to spend a night or two. Nearby lakes? Sure, Burford Lake is in close proximity to Lost Lake, and do set aside some time for Exhibition Pasture while you're here at Lost Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita Mountains. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lost Lake; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is ordinarily the driest month. Yeah, come here to Lost Lake for a great time.
