Lost Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Having a good time in the Wichita Mountains is trouble-free. If you came to camp Doris Campground is a fine spot to do that, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton. If you need a location to stay Baymont Inn &       Suites Lawton is a tremendous choice, and lots of people from Lawton come here. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Hackney Spring, and here at Lost Lake you can see Eagle Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Dog Run Hollow is a pleasant location to go if you're at Lost Lake; a lake nearby is Fish Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Lost Lake to catch a sight of the water at Lost Lake Dam, and you should positively                  dedicate some time to Forty Foot Hole since you're here at Lost Lake. During the summer highs here at Lost Lake reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the 20's. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Wichita Mountains. If you get bored of Lost Lake, you could also stop at nearby Lost Lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Cow Creek. So many cool things to do here at Lost Lake, too great to be true. Lost Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a delightful local campground, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Jimmy Creek.
