There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Catoosa Koa Kampground is a splendid spot for that, and Deer Run Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Long Lake reach the 90's; the night is quite colder of course, mostly in the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the       40's, and night lows at Long Lake through the winter mostly descend into the 20's. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do right next door to Long Lake. After a long day outdoors Microtel Claremore is a fine place to spend a night or two, and if you're here, you could go to Commodore Creek. Microtel Inns & Suites is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if you're visiting from Muskogee, you won't be the only one. From a rain point of view Long                  Lake is a pretty typical location; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January.
