Legion Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wichita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Legion Pond without first checking out Medicine Bluffs; if you need a site to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - LAWTON is a great choice. All year is a great time in the Wichita Mountains if you adore the outdoors. While you're here at Legion Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Lawton,

Stay the night at Dalston Mini Storage; Quality Inn Lawton is a great location to get some rest. High temperatures at Legion Pond during the days of summer are in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Legion Pond. is a brilliant location; lakes are such serene places, why not go to Jump Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita Mountains. Legion Pond is a good site of typical rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
