Through the warm days of summer here at Legion Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Legion Pond. So much entertaining stuff in the Wichita Mountains, just incredible. At Legion Pond you always meet someone from Lawton;       if you came for an overnight stay Granite Pointe RV Park is a glorious location to camp. From a precipitation point of view Legion Pond is a pretty typical place; during May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wichita Mountains. Chatto Flats is a great location. Jimmy Creek is a delightful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Legion Pond, and a great                  close by hotel is Quality Inn Lawton. You're possibly addicted to lakes, Jump Pond is one of those close by, and Erwin Acres Mobile Home Park is a delightful local campground. Legion Pond is a beautiful lake in the Wichita Mountains. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really bountiful here at Legion Pond. What would a spot like Legion Pond be without exciting nearby traits like Medicine Bluffs, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton is a magnificent spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
