Leeper Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Red River Ranch RV Resort is a glorious local campground, and Best Western Red River Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest. An average amount of precipitation falls at Leeper Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf,       you're in luck because Gainesville City Municipal Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and there are plenty of people from Gainesville here. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Leeper Lake reach the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 50's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Leeper Lake tend to be in the 20's.
