Lake Texoma in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. A lake close by is Randell Lake; Sherrard Rv & KOA Kampgrounds is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a look at Burns Run while you're here at Lake Texoma, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Denison. An exciting thing to take a look at near Lake Texoma is Denison Dam, and       it's a wonderful idea to explore Shawnee Creek. Lake Texoma gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. The friendly people of Sherman-Denison like to hang out close by; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Eisenhower State Park Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Texoma reach the 90's, and throughout the night                  it cools down to the 70's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Texoma temperatures descend to the 20's.
