If you came for an overnight stay Clancey's Cabins and RV Park is a splendid place to camp, and close by you come across the Boardstand Trail which is a great hiking trail. During the warm days of summer at Lake Talihina highs are regularly in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Lake Talihina throughout       the wintertime generally sink into the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. Be careful coming to the Ouachita Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. There is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Lake Talihina called the Wildhorse Trail; some nearby water includes Rock Creek. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Talihina Lake Dam, and a great spot close by is Devils Hollow.
