Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lake Rush while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Rush through the wintertime mostly dip into the 20's. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Lake Rush will keep you coming back again and again. Lake Rush is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Doris Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby,       and here at Lake Rush you can see Central Peak. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wichita Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Jimmy Creek, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton is a good place to get some rest. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake Rush; during May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lake Rush is located in the Wichita Mountains.                  Graham Flat is a charming spot any time of year, and Turtle Springs is an inspiring location to take a look at while you're here.
