 I go here every year on July 4th to see the fireworks show. I've always wanted to swim in it, but my parents say it's 'dirty'. I think what they're saying is that you cant see the bottom. This lake is a brown color due to the soil in Oklahoma. On average, the lake is 11. 5 ft. Deep, and 39 ft. At the deepest, near the dam. The lake is located on Cow Creek, 5 mi. Southwest of Perry, Oklahoma. ,Lake Perry', usually called 'Perry Lake' is the prime source of tap water for Perry. Says Kyle Forsythe
