This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Holiday Inn ARDMORE, and W M Chapman Reservoir is a good lake close by. There's always Lake Oteka Dam to go to near Lake Oteka; a charming lake like Marvin Poppe 5 Reservoir is a tremendous place to go to. If you need a place to stay Candlewood Suites       ARDMORE is a good choice; if you came to camp Little Glasses Resort is a perfect site to do that. The yearly rainfall here at Lake Oteka is about average; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. At Lake Oteka through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the                  50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Lake Oteka. Any time is a perfect time at Lake Oteka if you have a thing about the outdoors. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Pennington Creek.
