You don’t have to go far from Lake Oteka to observe the water at Lake Oteka Dam; of course Camp Creek is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at. During the summer months highs here at Lake Oteka get into the 90's; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lake Oteka.       From a rainfall point of view Lake Oteka is a quite normal place; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. There's whitewater on Washita River for all you thrill seekers, and dry warm beds await you at Cumberland Cove Resort. This spot is peerless, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do near Lake Oteka. If you came for an overnight stay Buzzard Roost Campground is a nice place to camp. Since                  you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Marvin Poppe 5 Reservoir, and camping at Lake Oteka is great fun, Soldier Creek Resort and Marina is a great local campground.
