This place, Lake McMurtry, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Stay the night at Lake Carl Blackwell, and if you need a location to stay Motel 6 is a pleasant choice. Lake McMurtry gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January. Lake McMurtry is not the only place close by, Carl Blackwell Lake       is a close by lake, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Stillwater. Carl Blackwell Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out; get wet paddling on Stillwater Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Cedarcrest RV Park is a great campground here; Stillwater-Days Inn is a great place to get some rest. All through the summertime months here at Lake McMurtry, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. For the period of the dark hours                  of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's.
