Summertime highs at Lake George ordinarily tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows       in the 20's to Lake George. You can run the rapids of Jimmy Creek in close proximity to Lake George, and Lawton Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wichita Mountains. The annual rainfall here at Lake George is about average; most of the rain falls during May; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
