This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Illinois River is so much fun, and Ballard Creek is in close proximity to Lake Frances and is always a diversion to pop by. Why not check out Frances Dam since you're here; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Siloam Springs. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Ozarks. Going for a hike on the Weddington Hiking Trail is always       a magnificent adventure. There's so much to do here at Lake Frances that you need to camp here for a while, Baron Fork Creek Campground is a nice place for that. Lake Frances is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks. Stay the night at Greentree RV, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Stateline Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to Lake Frances, you might not ever want to go back home again. Siloam Springs Country Club                  is a great golf course nearby. Lake Frances sees pretty high levels of rain; September is the month that gets the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime at Lake Frances comes with high temperatures in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's.
