Don't forget to take a great little trip to Chuckaho Creek, and camping is available at Oak Glenn. Best Western Stroud Motor Lodge is a splendid spot to get some rest. The annual rainfall here at Lake Davenport is about average; throughout May this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Chandler is a nice place to spend a       night or two, and why not camp at Sac and Fox Mobile Home and RV if you're here at Lake Davenport. Lake Davenport is not the only place close by, Davenport Lake is a close by lake, and Davenport Dam is a striking place, definitely worth taking a look at. At Lake Davenport during the warm months highs are in the 90's, and the night is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 70's.
