Oklahoma has many beautiful lakes and Lake Ardmore is one of them. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Lake Ardmore. Looking for some flowing water? Try Philips Creek, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Ardmore. Lake Ardmore is a good spot of normal rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. Lake Ardmore is a beautiful lake in the Arbuckle Mountains.

| | If you came for an overnight stay Buzzard Roost Campground is a brilliant place to camp; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Cliffside Trail. After a long day outdoors Microtel Ardmore is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and Ardmore Club Lake is a great lake close by. Throughout the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Lake Ardmore, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, | |

and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Ardmore dip into the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Chickasaw National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if
you haven't yet; Washita River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Arbuckle Mountains. Why not camp at Bar-k Mobilhome Park if you're here at Lake Ardmore, and a round of golf at
nearby Lakeview Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time.
All the outdoors entertaining things in the Arbuckle Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. At Lake Ardmore Dam near Lake Ardmore there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and if you need a site to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - ARDMORE is a perfect choice.
