If you are in Comanche county it's always a good idea to stop by Ketch Lake. At Ketch Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Ketch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Lawton is a nice spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Ketch Lake that you need

| | to camp here for a while, Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a perfect location for that. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wichita Mountains, not enough time. A great close by hotel is Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton; Costain Hill is trouble-free to spot from Ketch Lake.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Wichita Mountains. You're sure to run into some good folks from Lawton here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ketch Lake | |

has to offer, you can camp at Doris Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Wichita Mountains.
Not far from Ketch Lake, you'll hit upon Engineer Pond which is a wonderful lake, and you can take a little journey to Ketch
Lake Dam if you're here at Ketch Lake. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ketch Lake. Jed Flat is a great site to stretch your legs a bit, and whitewater paddling is nice on Jimmy Creek. Ketch Lake
gets a typical amount of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
