At Kaw Lake you always meet someone from Ponca City, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Ponca City is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. During the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Kaw Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Kaw Lake       plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Charley Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out, and camping is available at Kinder's Campers. If you came for an overnight stay Coon Creek Cove is a brilliant place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - PONCA CITY. Not far from Kaw Lake you get some splendid water scenery at Kaw Dam, and if you're here, do take a journey to Ponca Cove. Yep, outdoors cool things                  to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Kaw Lake. Lew Wentz Memorial Golf Course is a good golf course nearby.
