There are other sites here than Katy Lake, for example Shimoon Lake. There's so much to do here at Katy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Greenleaf State Park is a wonderful spot for that. During the warm months highs here at Katy Lake reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight       here at Katy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Pecan Valley Golf Course not far from Katy Lake, and Ross Lake is a good lake close by. Coody Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and Katy Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Hwy.69 North RV and Mobile Home Park is a splendid local campground. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Katy Lake. A great close by hotel is 3 Rivers                  Inn; there are plenty of people from Muskogee here. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MUSKOGEE is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and Devils Peak can be seen from Katy Lake.
