Jim Conrad Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Buzzard Roost Campground is a nice local campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Washita River. La Quinta Inn and Suites Ardmore is a fine place to get some rest, and Jim Conrad Dam is a beautiful site, positively worth checking out. High temperatures at Jim Conrad Reservoir during the long summer days are in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Jim Conrad Reservoir are in the 30's.
