Elk City Golf & Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Elk City Inn; of course, this is a wonderful area for people who like lakes, Fuchs N Reservoir is a lake close at hand. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Howard Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the wintertime       the highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Howard Reservoir all through the winter generally descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice; Elk Creek RV Park is a splendid campground here. Howard Dam is a place that is in the vicinity of Howard Reservoir; camping at Howard Reservoir is magnificent fun, Westwood RV Park is a magnificent local campground.
