Dog Creek is a nice local stream, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Big Flag Lake is one of those nearby. This place, Horseshoe Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Catoosa Koa Kampground while you're here at Horseshoe Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Tulsa here. A wonderful close by hotel is Microtel Inns & Suites; enjoy a round       of golf at Deer Run Golf Course. A perfect site to camp here at Horseshoe Lake is Willowrun Mobile Home Park, and after a long day outdoors Microtel Claremore is a splendid place to spend a night or two. During the warmest time of the year at Horseshoe Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Horseshoe Lake.
