    A visit to Horseshoe Lake is always a good idea. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Horseshoe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hwy.69 North RV and Mobile Home Park, and swing by Neosho River it's a good location to go to. Horseshoe Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through June this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Horseshoe Lake. Pecan Valley Golf Course  
   is a golf course in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Lake.
There are other sites here than Horseshoe Lake, for example Ross Lake; you'll meet a lot of people from Muskogee here. A tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MUSKOGEE. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meadowbrook RV Park is a glorious place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay 3 Rivers Inn is a good
 
               choice, and Katy Lake is a delightful lake nearby.
Throughout the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Horseshoe Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Horseshoe Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
