At Hollis Pond through the summertime highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hollis Pond temperatures drop to the 20's. The principal highlight in the vicinity is the Rabbit Hills; at Hollis Pond you always meet someone from Lawton. And that's not everything       there is to do here in the Wichita Mountains. Places like Antelope Flat are fine to go to. Lakes are fine; Grama Lake is a lake that's near Hollis Pond. Just can't get enough of the Wichita Mountains. The panorama of Big Four Mountain from Hollis Pond is beautiful. This place, Hollis Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. If you come at the right time of year, Jimmy Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and camping at Doris Campground                  is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hollis Pond you discover Hollis Canyon which is a fine location to check out, and Gramma Lake Dam is not far at all from Hollis Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Wichita Mountains. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Gramma Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; a fine place to camp here at Hollis Pond is Letra Campground and Picnic Area.
