This lake is so wonderful. People from Tulsa love to come to Heyburn Reservoir; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Heyburn Dam. The amount of rainfall that falls at Heyburn Reservoir is close to the national average; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. What a place this is for       outdoors folks. Lake Shore Motel and RV Park is a brilliant local campground. High temperatures at Heyburn Reservoir throughout the summer are in the 90's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, generally in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Heyburn Reservoir.
