The annual rain here at Geronimo Pond is about average; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is January. Getting to East Branch Wolf Creek from Geronimo Pond is uncomplicated, and Granite Pointe RV Park is a great campground nearby. This site, the Wichita Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. If you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a nice choice; Erwin Acres       Mobile Home Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. At Geronimo Pond you always meet someone from Lawton, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Jimmy Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Geronimo Pond has to offer. A golf course near Geronimo Pond is Lawton Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton. During the months of summer at                  Geronimo Pond temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
