If you are in Le Flore county it's always a good idea to stop by Gaither Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff right next door to Gaither Lake. Going for a hike along the Boardstand Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Big Cedar RV Park and Cabins is a great campground here. Gaither Lake Dam is a site that is close to Gaither Lake, and you can run the rapids of Kiamichi River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the

| | Billy Creek Trail is wonderful fun, and Gaither Lake is a fine place to camp, Horse Thief Spring Campground is a fine place.
This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Ouachita Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn, and Big Creek is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.

includes Coal Creek. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ouachita Mountains. You'll come across a stunning lake called Beaver Lake near Gaither Lake, and the smiling people of Fort Smith like to hang
out nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Gaither Lake a relatively wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
At Gaither Lake through the long summer days highs
are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Gaither Lake are in the 20's.
