This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at French Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a wonderful place for that, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Lawton. From a rain point of view French Lake is a relatively normal spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January.       Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Wichita Mountains rocks! The cheerful folks of Lawton like to hang out close by, and not far from French Lake you obtain some brilliant water scenery at French Lake Dam. A glorious place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of French Lake is Jimmy Creek, and since you're here why not stop at Dog Run Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a perfect choice.                  If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. There are other places here than French Lake, for example Kiowa Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything French Lake has to offer, you can camp at Doris Campground. French Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wichita Mountains. Not far from French Lake, you'll discover French Lake which is a charming lake; if the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a glorious sight of Bat Cave Mountain from French Lake. Throughout the summer months highs here at French Lake get into the 90's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for French Lake tend to be in the 20's. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Wichita Mountains.
