Beautiful Flying Ranch Number 1 Reservoir has much to offer visitors. What a place this is for outdoors people. You're probably keen on lakes, Dresser Lake is one of those close by; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Boardstand Trail. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Going for a hike on the Wildhorse Trail is always a fine adventure, and Dresser Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Billy Creek Campground is a delightful place to do that, and Negro Hollow is a perfect site to spend some time. Through the summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Flying Ranch Number 1 Reservoir, and the night is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. Flying Ranch Number 1 Reservoir is
a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. A large amount of rain falls at Flying Ranch Number 1 Reservoir; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. There is a splendid hiking trail in
the vicinity of Flying Ranch Number 1 Reservoir called the K Trail, and camping at Horse Thief Spring Campground is always a pleasant experience.
