You're sure to run into some nice folks from McAlester here; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Mcalester is a good spot to spend a night or two. Fin Feather Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. Summer brings       highs in the 90's to Fin Feather Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fin Feather Lake descend into the 20's. The scenery at Fin Feather Lake Dam near Fin Feather Lake is picturesque; Smithson Lake is a glorious lake nearby. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Ouachita Mountains.                  If you came to camp Super 8 Motel and RV Park is a splendid site to do that, and Candlewood Suites MCALESTER is a nice spot to get some rest.
