And that's not all you can do here in the Ouachita Mountains. After a long day outdoors Days Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Dresser Lake is near Dresser Lake Dam which is a pretty site beyond doubt worth visiting, and if you're here, you might as well stop at Negro Hollow. Through the warmest time of the year,       highs commonly are in the 90's at Dresser Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Dresser Lake are in the 20's. Little Buzzard Creek flows through this neighborhood, and going for a hike on the Boardstand Trail is always a glorious adventure. A large amount of precipitation falls at Dresser Lake; the wettest month of the year                  is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many enjoyable things in the Ouachita Mountains, just astonishing. A great site for whitewater paddling near Dresser Lake is Little River, and you can stay the night at Billy Creek Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Henry G Mountain can be made out from Dresser Lake; splendid hiking is available along the Wildhorse Trail.
