This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Smith Lake near Danielson Lake; you can run the rapids of Blue River. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Danielson Lake has it all. Best Western Markita Inn is a good location to get some rest, and the good people of Durant like to hang out nearby. Newberry Creek Resort and Marina is a splendid       campground nearby, and lakes are such calm places, why not check out Upper Danielson Lake. At Danielson Lake through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Danielson Lake fall into the 20's. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Durant is a good place to spend a night                  or two. There's some flowing water close by, Brushy Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here; an exciting thing to take a look at near Danielson Lake is Danielson Dam. An average amount of rainfall falls at Danielson Lake; the month with most of the rain is May, and January on the other hand is the driest.
