Crater Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wichita Mountains. There's always Crater Lake Dam to stop by next to Crater Lake, and some close by water includes Cow Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Letra Campground and Picnic Area, and if you need a location to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a

Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Crater Lake. Canyon Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and there are plenty of folks from Lawton here at Crater Lake. Stay the night at Doris Campground, and Arapaho Point is charming and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. Quality Inn Lawton is a fine place to get some rest; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Jimmy Creek.

Crater Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. High temperatures at Crater Lake all through the warm months are in the 90's; through
summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Crater Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is abundant here in
the Wichita Mountains. A short spree to Winborn Spring is always worthwhile, and Sulphur Flat is a tremendous place here at Crater Lake.
